Cheesecake Ala Linda-Bah-Linda Recipe

Directions

: filling:

4 ea 8 oz Phila Brand cream
: cheese -- room temp
2 ea 16 oz sour cream -- room
: temp
6 lg eggs -- room temp
2 c sugar
1 TB vanilla
1/2 TB cinnamon (my addition)
: CRUST:
1 1/3 c vanilla wafers -- crushed
1/4 c sugar
1/2 c butter -- melted

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine ingredients for crust and
press into botton of greased 10" springform pan. Mix the filling
ingredients and beat until well mixed, do not overbeat! Pour filling
mixture in pan. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

The History of Recipes

Later, in the fifteenth century, knights returning from the crusades brought back a variety of foods and herbs from the East, including spices such as basil and rosemary. The introduction of these new foods and spices led to an eruption in manuscripts on food, some of which are kept safe in academic collections.

The revolution that is television brings us TV chefs and the demand for the accompanying recipe books.
