SLICE (JUILIANE) ONE OF EACH WHITE ONION, BELL
PEPPER,2 STALKS OF CELERY.TAKE 18 OZS. OF CHOICE
TENDERLOIN (BEEF) AND SLICE THIN IN ONE HALF INCH
STRIPS. IN A SKILLET HEAT OIL UNTIL HOT,DROP IN
BEEF(BEEF SHOULD SIZZLE) QUICKLY STIR BEEF,ADD
VEGETABLES, STIRRING CONSTANTLY.THE VEGETABLES SHOULD
BE SAUTEED(STILL CRISP). TAKE ONE RED RIPE TOMATO AND
CUT IN ONE EIGHTS, ADD STILL STIRRING. YOU CAN SERVE
WITH RICE OR OVER RICE. SERVE WITH A SMALL BOWL OF
TERAYAKI SAUCE FOR DIPPING. HOPE YOU ENJOY!

The History of Recipes

Aspicius tells us how the ancient chefs were skilled in the use of a good variety of aromatic flavors, including some that we all recognise such as basil, fennel and parsley.

Over the next few hundred years, the wealthy families of Wesstern Europe strove to lay on the most exotic meals, and as a consequence, the best cooks and their collection of recipes increased in prestige. However, it wasn`t until the nineteenth century that cooking and recipe collections became really popular. The Famous Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Merritt Farmer in the USA, spent years to collecting, trying out, and recording the recipes that were being prepared for the better households.

The arrival of TV brought us celebrity TV chefs and the recipe books that accompanied them.

And that brings us to the present day and the invention of computers and the internet, permitting us all to access thousands of recipes such as those found on sites such as this.
