2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp prepared mustard
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp hot pepper sauce


Directions

Cook to blend and to get correct consistency.

Over the following few centuries, the rich families of the West competed to serve up the best banquets, and consequentially cooks and their collection of recipes increased in prestige. Even so, it was during the 19th century that haute cuisine and recipe collections rose to prominence. The Famous Mrs Isabella Beeton in the UK, and the equally well-known Fannie Farmer in the US, dedicated their lives to assembling, testing, and publishing the recipes of their peers.

The arrival of TV brings us TV cooks and the spin-off recipe books.
