16 oz frozen vegetable medley
2 tbsp water
Directions
Heat oil in stir fry pan until hot, add chicken. Stir in package of
dressing mix to coat chicken. Add vegetables and water and stir fry
for about 2 to 3 minutes. Makes 4 servings.

The History of Recipes

Aspicius also tells us how the ancient chefs used a good variety of aromatic flavors, including a few that will be familiar to modern cooks like basil, fennel and parsley. Later, in the fifteenth century, people returning from the crusades brought us many new foods, spices and herbs from the East, including basil and rosemary. These new herbs and spices created an increase in recipe books, many of which are kept safe in private collections. The revolution that is television gave us celebrity chefs and the spin-off recipe books. Which pretty much brings us to the present day and the invention of computers and the internet, permitting us all to access thousands of recipes such as those found on sites such as this. |
