Ingredients

3 cup whole wheat flour
1/3 cup popcorn flour
1 1/2 tsp bouquet garni
1 tbsp chili powder
2 tsp date sugar
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1 cup mashed kidney beans
1 1/4 cup water
2 tbsp oil
4 tsp active dry yeast


Directions

Place ingred. in breadmachine according to your mfg. instructions.
Use the WHOLE WHEAT CYCLE... I use the WHITE BREAD CYCLE on WELBILT
ABM100.


Servings: 1 lg. loaf

The History of Recipes

Additionally, he describes how the ancient Romans were skilled in the use of many herbs, including a few that will be familiar to modern chefs such as bay, rue and parsley.

For the decades that followed, the powerful and rich competed to lay on the most exotic banquets, and consequentially the best cooks and their recipes could command a high salary. However, it wasn`t until the nineteenth century that haute cuisine and recipe collections rose to prominence. Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally well-known Fannie Farmer in the USA, devoted much of their lives to collating, verifying, and publishing recipes for their fellow cooks to enjoy.

By the time we get to the 1900s, cookbooks are highly popular mostly due to better eduction, people having increased free time and having more money to spend.
