Creamy Italian Dressing Recipe

Ingredients

1 tbsp Virgin Olive oil
1 tbsp Vegetable oil
4 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
1/4 tsp Leaf oregano
1/8 tsp Salt
Pepper to taste


Directions

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate. Shake well before
using. Makes 1/3 cup = 6 servings.

Nevertheless, it was during the 1800s that formal cookery and cookery books really came of age. Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally well-known Fannie Merritt Farmer in the USA, dedicated the best years of their lives to collating, trying out, and writing down recipes common in their social group.

The introduction of television brings us celebrity TV chefs and the accompanying recipe books.
