Russian Tea Mix Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup sugar
3/4 cup instant tea
2 qt presweetened lemonade
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 cup tang


Directions

Mix all ingredients together and store in a dry cupboard, it will
keep for a long time if kept dry. To make the tea; mix 2 teaspoons of
the dry mix in a cup of hot water stir until dissolved. Linda Short

During the succeeding few centuries, the rich and powerful families of the West tried to serve the most exotic banquets, and because of this the best cooks and their recipe collections became highly prized. Nevertheless, it wasn`t until the 1800s that fine cookery and cookery books became really popular. Mrs Isabella Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Merritt Farmer in the USA, devoted their lives to collating, trying out, and recording recipes to allow everyone to enjoy them.

Like it or not, the introduction of TV gave us celebrity chefs and the accompanying recipe books.
