Ingredients

2 egg whites
2/3 cup sugar
6 oz chocolate chips


Directions

Preheat oven to 350

In small mixing bowl; beat eggs. Add sugar after eggs are "more than
foamy"-they should be light and fluffy.
Beat for 8 minutes. Fold in chips. Drop by tbsp onto greased cookie
sheet. TURN OVEN OFF, leave overnight.

In the fifteenth century, the Crusaders brought back a variety of foods and herbs from the East, including coriander, parsley, basil and rosemary. These new herbs and spices caused a surge in recipe manuscripts, most of which are now in private collections.

By the arrival of the 20th century, recipe books are highly popular mostly as a result of increased literacy, people having increased free time and having more money.

Like it or not, the introduction of television brought us TV cooks and the recipe books that accompanied them.

And that brings us to the present day and the internet revolution, permitting everybody to search through massive numbers of recipes just like those on sites such as this.
