Picante De Huevos (Egg & Avocado Appetizer) Recipe


Ingredients

6 eggs, hard-cooked, chopped
2 avocados, peeled, pitted, chopped
1 chile, habanero, seeded, stemmed, chopped
1 onions, chopped fine
3 tbsp parsley, chopped fine
2 tbsp vinegar
1/2 tsp salt
3 mangoes, halved, seeded
1 cilantro

HEAT SCALE = HOT



Directions

Place all the ingredients except the mangoes and cilantro in a food
processor or blender and blend at medium speed until very well
combined and fairly smooth. Chill for several hours. Pour the sauce
into the hollowed out section of the mango halves, and garnish with
cilantro.

Even so, it was during the 19th century that fine cooking and recipe collections reached a high level of popularity. Mrs Isabella Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Farmer in the US, dedicated their lives to collecting, trying out, and writing down the recipes of their peers.

When we get to the 20th century, cookery books were in great demand, mostly as a result of more people being able to read, people having increased spare time and having more money.
