Santa Fe Beef Kabobs Recipe


Ingredients

2 1/2 lb boneless beef (top round, trimmed a, nd cut into 1 1/
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp lime juice
1 tbsp chile powder
1 tsp cumin, ground
2 each cloves garlic, minced


Directions

Prepare a hot charcoal fire. In a large bowl, combine beef cubes with
remaining ingredients, tossing to coat evenly.

Thread meat on skewers and grill, turing several times, four to six
inches above ashed coals until meat is browned outside and tender,
pink and juicy inside, about 10 minutes.

Note: If you are using bamboo skewers, soak the skewers in water for
one hour or longer to prevent burning.

Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally well-known Fannie Merritt Farmer in the US, spent years to assembling, verifying, and publishing recipes to allow everyone to enjoy them.

The introduction of television brought us TV chefs and the accompanying recipe books.
