Chunky Peanut Butter Bread Recipe


Ingredients

2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1 cup milk
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp vanilla


Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder andf salt
into a large bowl. Add the peanut butter, milk, egg and vanilla. Mix
well. Pour into a greased loaf pan and bake for 50 to 60 minutes.

Over the following few hundred years, the powerful families of Wesstern Europe competed with each other to offer the most exotic banquets, and as a result the best cooks and their recipe collections became highly prized. Even so, it was during the 19th century that cookery and recipe publications really came of age. Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Merritt Farmer in the US, dedicated their lives to assembling, testing, and publishing the recipes of their peers.

By the arrival of the 20th century, recipe publications were in great demand, due to increased literacy, people having more spare time and disposable income.
