2 1/2 tsp yeast
3 cup bread flour
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup coffee -- prepared


Directions

Put all ingredients in the bread machine and turn on.

The History of Recipes

During the following few centuries, the rich families of Wesstern Europe tried to serve the most extravagent meals, and as a result the best chefs and their recipes were at a premium. Nevertheless, it was during the nineteenth century that cooking and recipe publications really came of age. Mrs Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Farmer in the USA, spent years to collecting, verifying, and publishing recipes of the day.

By the advent of the 1900s, cooking publications are increasing in popularity as a result of increased literacy, people having increased spare time and having more disposable income.
