Peppered Cheddar Dip Recipe


Ingredients

1 1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
3 tbsp minced green pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 tsp red pepper sauce
1 tbsp milk


Directions

Blend all ingredients. If necessary, add another tbs of milk to make
a good dipping consistency. Cover, refrigerate at least 1 hour.
Makes 2 cups Spicy as a Southwestern favorite should be. Serve hot
with corn chips.

Nevertheless, it was during the 19th century that haute cuisine and recipe books became popular. Mrs Isabella Beeton in the UK, and the equally famous Fannie Farmer in the US, spent years to collating, trying out, and publishing recipes to allow everyone to enjoy them.

The introduction of television gave us TV chefs and the spin-off recipe books.

Which pretty much brings us to the present day and the invention of computers and the internet, allowing everyone to access thousands of recipes like the ones you can find on sites such as the one you are reading now.
