Banana, Honey and Nutmeg Smoothie

Perfect for using up those really soft bananas.

Ingredients
  • 2 ripe bananas, in chunks
  • 2 tbsp clear honey
  • 150g Greek-style 0% fat natural yoghurt
  • 300ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 25g oatmeal.
  • whole nutmeg, for grating
Method
  • 1

    Blend the banana, honey, yogurt, milk and oatmeal.

    Add 4 ice cubes and blend until smooth.

  • 3

    To serve, divide between 2 tumblers and grate a little nutmeg on top of each.

  • 4

    Or to make a berry smoothie, add 125g of strawberries or raspberries to the mixture (leave the nutmeg out).
