Strawberry and Ginger Fizz

This refreshing drink is a great non-alcoholic option for parties

Cost Cutting Eco Friendly Gluten Free‏ Quick Make Vegan Friendly

Ingredients
  • 750g Jubilee strawberries, washed and hulled
  • 50g caster sugar
  • 1 lt ginger beer
  • 1 lime
  • handful mint leaves
  • ice cubes
Method
  • 1

    Pour the strawberries and sugar into a large pan with 3 tbsp of water. On a low heat, gently simmer the strawberries until softened.

    Strain through a sieve into a large jug or bowl to remove all the seeds and large pieces of fruit. Cover with clingfilm and set this aside to cool before placing in the fridge for an hour.

    When you are ready to serve, fill a large jug with some ice, then add the ginger beer and the chilled strawberry juice. Mix well.

  • 4

    To serve, add the slices of lime, the mint leaves and extra strawberries.

  • PER SERVING: 0.3g FAT (Excluding extras)
